About Us
NEELI CHHATRI FOUNDATION, is a registered NGO under Companies Act 2013 in Uttar Pradesh, that offers a platform to aid the marginalized people of our society. We provide various opportunities to underprivileged people so we can create a resilient society. Our focus spans over multiple areas like Primary Education, Health and Hygiene and Malnutrition.
IDEA TO EXECUTION
In the bustling corridors of the university, where students hurriedly passed each other on their way to classes, fate had a special plan for three of us. Despite being enrolled in different courses, we found a unique bond that transcended academic boundaries. Hailing from the village, the connection was almost inevitable, and as we navigated through university life, the friendship grew stronger.
One day we were sitting under the leafy tree and were discussing our dreams and aspirations and that time the idea took root. The society we all came from was close to our hearts, and the desire to give back at the same time we were doing a course in Community Engagement. It was here that the seed of an idea – an idea that later transformed into the NEELI CHHATRI – was planted.
Life moved on for months, and we continued to excel in our respective fields. We wanted to gain practical experience and knowledge that would allow us to create a meaningful impact. So, during the summer breaks, we embarked on internships with various NGOs as our Assignment. These internships became a source of inspiration, helping us in understanding the inner workings of nonprofit organizations.
